Parents Representative Council (PRC)

The Parents Representative Council (PRC) is the diocesan parent organisation which represents the parents and guardians of children attending Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta.

The council consists of parent representatives from primary and secondary schools, and works in partnership with the Bishop, the Catholic Education Office, priests and school staff to support the education of students in Catholic schools.

Parent Education Programs

Information sessions for parents on topics such as curriculum, and methods of teaching and learning are held throughout the year. These sessions also provide information about the school's policies and procedures and the opportunities for parents to participate in discussions and workshops.

The Catholic Education Office runs various programs to inform parents about ways they can assist their children to get the most out of their schooling. These courses vary in length and are offered at different times of the year in both the daytime and evening. Details about these programs are available by phoning the parent educator at the Catholic Education Office on 9840 5721, or by visiting the Parramatta Diocese Catholic Education website: www.parra.catholic.edu.au

Volunteer Training

We welcome the contribution volunteers make to the life of our school.

As we are committed to keeping students safe, all volunteers in schools are required to complete the building child safe communities undertaking form and child protection training module before volunteering. These checks reduce potential risk and forms part of our strategy to build child safe communities.
