Family School Liaison Officer

Our Family School Liaison Officer (FSLO), Samantha is available at the school to provide understanding and help ease some of the demands and challenges that face many families in our school community. Samantha has experience working with families and is passionate about meeting the needs of our community.

Quite often parents will talk with the FSLO about issues such as: -

  • Family illness 
  • Financial stress 
  • School/Home life balance 
  • Family breakdown 
  • Relationships 
  • Behavioural issues with children

Welcome back for Term 2. If you and/or your family require support with any of the following:

 

- Domestic and family violence

- Environmental stressors / Risk of homelessness

- Financial hardship

- Drugs and/or alcohol abuse

- Linking to services including NDIS, mental health facilities 

- Court support / or involvement with Police - providing support, advice and/or advocacy 

- Mental health and/or medical condition

- Emotional support

- Other stressors - families and students are encouraged to discuss this further.

They can assist with the following, based upon their completion of information gathering:
- Electricity / Gas bill
- Sending out food vouchers via email.
- Cost for Removalist 
- Rental arrears 
- Telstra bills only
- White goods such as, fridges, washing machine
- Petrol vouchers - sent via email - depending of the family situation
 
Please note, there will be a call back which may take a few days to return your call due to the high volume of calls. 
 
In addition, please contact me on 0427 068 429. I am contactable Monday - Friday from 7am - 3pm to discuss further and how we can assist you and provide information of appropriate services to assist.
 

Fee Relief for families experiencing hardship due to COVID-19


To assist families who are experiencing difficulties with school fees because of COVID-19, a new process has been developed to make seeking fee relief as simple and fair as possible.
