๐๐ช Year 7 Archaeologists at Work! ๐ช๐ Our Year 7 History students had a blast with a Cookie Excavation activity as they explored the world of archaeology! Using careful techniques (and a lot of patience!), they uncovered "artifacts" (chocolate chips!) while learning about excavation methods.

YEAR 9 ELECTIVE HISTORY!!! Mr Matรจโs Year 9 Elective History class were learning about archaeology as part of their unit on the Egyptian Empire. Students completed an archaeological dig where they had to carefully excavate Egyptian artefacts and record their findings on the grid map. They then had to outline what these artefacts reveal about aspects of daily life in Ancient Egypt.

Our Year 9 Religion class gave a presentation on the topic 'The Most Misunderstood Scripture Passages'. They were assigned a commonly misunderstood scripture passage, asked to research contextual information from the time and culture of the period ๐บโณ, look at misinterpretations โ, and give their own interpretations as well as the intended interpretation โ .

Students from Year 12 Biology ๐งฌ attended the Museum of Human Disease as part of their Depth Study for Module 8. Students examined an array of over 1,500 samples of diseased tissues, organs, and bones ๐ฅ๐ฆด and are now developing a case study of a chosen non-infectious disease ๐. Students showed high levels of enthusiasm and engagement and were commended by Museum staff ๐. Congratulations to our Year 12 students, we hope you enjoyed such an insightful experience! ๐ฌโจ
