Student wellbeing

We support the social and emotional welfare of students and their families through effective strategies, recommendations, policies and procedures, guidelines and tools that enable healthy personal development in students and contributes to their academic success.

Our peer support leadership program is just one example of how we prioritise safe and respectful relationships across the school community.

Learning at St Agnes

St Agnes is a place where curiosity, imagination and love of learning thrive through working together to provide the most effective, engaging and challenging learning experiences for students.

As one of the 80 Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta, we’re working together to transform learning for students in Greater Western Sydney. This means reimagining and refreshing learning and teaching for today’s world and today’s learners.

The purpose and promise of a Catholic education is to inspire each learner - student, teacher and family - to discover a meaningful and flourishing life.

Our faith journey

St Agnes is a great place for students to grow in faith and learning. We value each student as an individual and share the values of the Gospel to help them discover the hope that is within and to experience a meaningful and flourishing life.

Beyond the classroom

We believe it is important for students to pursue interests to find what they are passionate about. Our school gives them exposure to a range of exciting opportunities to unlock their creative potential, develop a talent or follow a passion.

Be it performing with Battle of the Bands to conducting experiments with the CSIRO, St Agnes is a place where every student shines!

Extracurricular activities we offer

Sport

Sport is a valued part of a school’s curriculum, contributing to the development of the whole child by providing a vehicle for social, physical, emotional and moral learning. Participation, enjoyment and skill development are the cornerstones of school sport. Representative pathways are also available through the Parramatta Diocesan Secondary Schools Sports Council.

Parents as partners

Strong partnerships between home, parish and school support students to grow in faith and learning. We recognise parents and carers as each student’s most influential, primary and essential educators.

Bring your own device program

St Agnes prepares our students for a rapidly changing world, where technology plays a large role in all aspects of our lives. We support this through our up-to-date teaching focus in which students are required to bring a learning device as part of their education. Find out our device requirements.
